Steps to Resolve

  1. Power Cycle and Check Connections
    1. Step 1: Power off the device.
    2. Step 2: Plug and unplug the three USB cables.
    3. Step 3: Click Settings > Restore to Factory Settings to reset the printer. After the printer is restored to factory settings, please check if the printer continues to display the overheating error.
  2. If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.
  3. Diagnose Nozzle or Hot Bed Abnormality
    1. Nozzle Abnormality: If diagnosed, replace the Print head. Follow the instructions here: How to replace the extruder/print head for the M5 printer.
    2. Hot Bed Abnormality: If diagnosed, replace the Marlin board. Follow the instructions here: How to Replace the Marlin Board.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Immediate Action
    1. Step 1: Immediately power off and shut down the device.
    2. Step 2: Contact after-sales support for further assistance.

Note: If the nozzle equipment is abnormal, the nozzle temperature will continue to rise, potentially causing a smoke accident. If the hotbed equipment is abnormal, the hotbed temperature will continue to rise to about 120°C.

  1. Diagnose Based on Error Code
    1. Nozzle Abnormality: If diagnosed, replace the Print head. Follow the instructions here: How to replace the extruder/print head for the M5 printer.
    2. Hot Bed Abnormality: If diagnosed, replace the Marlin board. Follow the instructions here: How to Replace the Marlin Board.
