1. Data Transmission Errors
Solution:
- Replug the Type-C Cables:
- Nozzle End:
- Turn off the printer.
- Use a 2.0 wrench to remove the fixing screws of the Type-C cable at the nozzle end. (There are different versions, choose the appropriate one for disassembly and assembly.)
- Nozzle End:
New version, Old version
- Pull out the Type-C cable upwards, reinsert it, and secure the screws.
- Restart the printer to check for normal operation.
- If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Base Marlin Board End:
- Turn off the printer.
- Use a 2.0 wrench to remove the fixing screws of the Type-C cable at the Marlin board end.
Pull out the Type-C cable downwards, reinsert it, and secure the screws.
Restart the printer to check for normal operation.
Abnormal Heating of Nozzle or Hot Bed
Solution:
- Refer to the heating abnormality document.
- After following the instructions, power on the printer again and perform automatic leveling.
3. Automatic Leveling Errors, Automatic Leveling Failure
Solution:
- Z-axis Movement Issues:
- Diagnosis: One side of the Z-axis does not move or is not synchronized.
- Solution: Check if the two Z-axis motor wires are properly connected or inserted upside down.
X, Y, Z Movement Abnormalities:
- Solution: Refer to the article on How to Fix Homing Fail Issue.
Uneven or Tilted Hot Bed Platform:
- Diagnosis: Check for abnormalities in the V-wheel and the distance between both sides of the printing platform and the base.
- Solution: Reassemble and correct any identified issues.
Loose or Damaged V-wheel Eccentric Nut:
- Solution: Refer to the documentation for adjusting the hotbed V eccentric nut and nozzle assembly V eccentric nut.
Improper Installation of Gantry and Platform Components:
- Steps:
- Turn off the power, move the nozzle and print platform to the zero position, and manually press down the Z-axis to ensure both sides are at the bottom.
Check from the front if the nozzle is lower than the printing platform on both sides.
If not, reassemble the columns to ensure they are fully seated in the base grooves.
4. Printing Too Close or Too Far from the Bed
Note: To ensure proper adhesion of the first layer, slight wrinkles are normal and help with adhesion.
Solution:
- Too Close:
- Adjust the Z-axis offset on the screen in increments of 0.05mm to raise the nozzle.
Too Far:
- Clean the nozzle and perform automatic leveling again. Adjust the Z-axis offset on the screen in increments of -0.05mm to lower the nozzle.
After the above steps, power on the printer again and perform automatic leveling. If issues persist, please take a video of the issue and contact customer service for further analysis.
