When to Plug and Unplug the Type-C Cable

  3. The machine has been printing normally, but suddenly, no material is being extruded, and a squeaking sound is heard.
  4. The screen shows that the nozzle temperature is abnormal, not heating up or displaying a temperature of zero degrees.
  5. The machine displays an abnormal heating alarm.

How to Plug and Unplug the Type-C Cable

Type-C Cable Plug and Unplug at Nozzle End

  1. Remove the Fixed Screws:
    1. Ensure the machine is powered off.
    2. Use a 2.0 wrench to remove the fixed screws of the Type-C cable at the nozzle end.
    3. Note: There are differences between the old and new versions of the Type-C cable. Based on your situation, choose the appropriate version for disassembly.

 
  1. Pull Out and Reinsert the Type-C Cable:
  • Pull the Type-C cable upward.
  • Re-insert it back into its original position and tighten the fixing screws.
  1. Restart the Machine:
    1. Restart the machine to check if it has returned to normal.
  2. Verify at the Marlin End (if needed):
    1. If the problem persists, proceed to verify the Type-C cable at the Marlin end.

  1. Remove the Fixing Screws:
    1. Turn off the machine.
    2. Use a 2.0 wrench to remove the fixing screws of the Type-C cable at the Marlin end.

  1. Pull Out and Reinsert the Type-C Cable:
    1. Pull the Type-C cable downward.
    2. Re-insert it back into its original position and tighten the fixing screws.
  2. Restart the Machine:
    1. Restart the machine to check if it has returned to normal.
