How to Fix the Spots and Scars on your model for M5
Features and description
The model surface is uneven
Reasons, Diagnoses, and Solutions
Inadequate Infill Leads to Model Surface Collapse
Diagnosis: Preview the model Gcode and check whether there is Support at the collapsed position.
Solution: Increase printing temperature, increase infill density, or replace the infill pattern.
Printing Process Interruption Causes Spots or Scars on the Surface of the Model
A. Power Cut Off During Printing Process
Diagnosis: Check whether the power was cut off during the model printing process and manually click to continue.
Solution: Cut/sand the scar or reprint the model.
B. Midway Pause
Diagnosis: Check whether the printing was paused during the model printing process and manually clicked to continue. If the nozzle stays in the upper left corner of the printing platform for an extended period, filament leakage due to gravity may form spots on the model when continuing to print.
Solution: Remove the leaked part of the filament and continue printing.
C. Break Detection Alarm
Diagnosis: Check whether there was a material break alarm during the model printing process, reload the filament, and manually click to continue. If the nozzle stays in the upper left corner of the printing platform for an extended period, filament leakage due to gravity may form spots on the model when continuing to print.
Solution: Remove the leaked part of the filament and continue printing.
