How to Fix Too Much Filament Extrusion of M5

Identifying Issues:

  1. The model's surface and internal areas have excessive filament and noticeable overflow.

Reasons, Checks, and Solutions:

  1. Significant Variation in Filament Diameter:
    1. Check: Select a section of filament (recommended length ≥ 10cm) and measure the diameter. Ensure the deviation is within the range of 1.75mm ± 0.03mm.
    2. Solution: Replace the filament or purchase AnkerMake filament.
  2. Improper Flow Parameter Settings (not applicable in simple mode):
    1. Check: Verify if the flow parameter in the Slicer is set to 100% via Material > Flow (note that the first layer flow might be deliberately increased, while the rest should be at 100%).
    2. Solution: Adjust the flow parameter to 100%.

If none of the above methods solve the problem, please contact us directly at us and provide logs (via the APP: Me > About > Upload Log, and via the device: Setting > Upload Log), the Gcode, STL model, and photos of the issue for analysis.
