How to Fix Holes or Gaps on the Top Layer for M5
Features and description
There are gaps and holes in the top layer of the model. Refer to How to Fix the Spots and Scars Issue on the Printer Model.
Reasons, Diagnoses, and Solutions
- Insufficient Top-Level Flow (No Need to Consider When Using Simple Mode)
- Diagnosis: Check whether the top-level flow parameter in Studio is set to 1 (100%) through Expert > Quality.
- Solution: Set the top flow to 1 (100%) or increase the top flow appropriately.
- Too Few Top Layers to Cover the Top Holes and Gaps (No Need to Consider When Using Simple Mode)
- Diagnosis: Check the number of layers in the top shell. Go to Studio > default is ≥ 4.
- Solution: Set the number of top layers to 5 or increase the number of top layers appropriately.
- The Infill Density Parameter is Too Low to Cover the Top Layer.
- Diagnosis: Check the infill density in Studio through Expert > Strength > Fill and ensure it is ≥ 10%.
- Solution: Set the infill density to 10% or increase the density appropriately.
- Note: When the infill density is 100%, it is a solid workpiece.
If none of the above methods can solve the problem, please contact us directly through us and provide logs (APP side through Me > About > Upload Log, device side through Setting > Upload Log), Gcode, STL model and phenomenon pictures for analysis.
