Z-offset compensation function of M5C
Why Do We Need Z-Offset?
Reasons for Z-Offset Adjustment
- First Layer Printed Too Close:
- The nozzle scratches the hotbed or presses down too much, causing the first layer to wrinkle.
First Layer Printed Too Far:
- The nozzle is too high from the hotbed, causing the first layer to not adhere properly or the filament to separate.
First layer good quality:
Operation Steps
- Adjust Z-Axis Offset:
- Open the AnkerMake mobile app.
- Navigate to Control > Z-Axis Offset.
- Click the + or - buttons to raise or lower the Z-axis offset according to the first layer printing results.
- Print and Observe:
- Print the leveling model again and observe whether the first layer quality meets the "First Layer good quality" image.
- If the first layer is still too high or too low, adjust again according to step 1.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact us.
