How to Adjust the V Wheel of X and Y Axis
Why Do We Need to Adjust the V-Wheel?
After using the equipment for some time, the V-wheels can experience slight wear, causing the eccentric nut to loosen slightly. This necessitates adjusting the tightness of the V-wheels to ensure optimal performance.
X-axis V-Wheel Adjustment Steps:
- Prepare the Tools: Use a No. 10 open wrench to adjust the eccentric nut on the lower end of the X-axis V-wheel fixing plate.
- Adjust the Eccentric Nut:
- Turn clockwise to loosen.
- Turn counterclockwise to tighten.
- Check the Adjustment:
- Ensure that when you shake the extruder up and down, there is no shaking.
- The extruder should slide smoothly left and right without obstruction.
- If these conditions are met, the X-axis V-wheel adjustment is successful.
Y-axis V-Wheel Adjustment Steps:
- Prepare the Tools: Use a No. 10 open wrench to adjust the eccentric nut on the right end V-wheel of the hot bed.
- Adjust the Eccentric Nut:
- Turn clockwise to loosen.
- Turn counterclockwise to tighten.
- Check the Adjustment:
- Ensure that when you shake the hot bed up and down, there is no shaking.
- The hot bed should slide smoothly back and forth without obstruction.
- If these conditions are met, the Y-axis V-wheel adjustment is successful.
