How to achieve a better auto-leveling result
After Automatic Leveling: Z-Axis Offset Adjustment
If the leveling effect is not good after automatic leveling, the Z-axis offset needs to be adjusted and corrected. There are two main issues:
- Too Close:
- The first layer of printing is too close, and the nozzle scratches the hotbed.
- Too Far:
- The nozzle is too high from the hotbed, and the first layer cannot adhere to the hotbed panel or the filament separates.
Good first layer quality
Z-Axis Offset Adjustment Steps:
- Adjust Z-Axis Offset:
- Open the AnkerMake app on your mobile phone.
- Go to Control > Z-axis Offset.
- Click + or - to raise or lower the Z-axis offset according to the first layer printing quality.
- Reprint and Check:
- Print the leveling model again and observe whether the first layer quality meets the "Good first layer quality Standard".
- If it is too close or too far, adjust it again according to step 1.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact us.
