Replacement Steps
Disassembly
- Turn on the device.
- Open the mobile app, connect to the device, enter the Control > Extrusion menu, click the nozzle to set the preheating temperature according to the filament, and then click the "Retract" button.
- If the filament cannot be retracted, press the pneumatic interface on the nozzle assembly, pull out the Teflon tube, and use the side cutters to cut the filament.
- Turn off the printer power.

- Pull up and remove the front shell and top shell of the extruder.
- Disconnect the strain gauge terminals.
- Use a 2.0mm hex wrench to unscrew the four front-end fixing bolts of the extruder (two on each side) and remove the extruder assembly.
- Disconnect the heating tube and thermistor terminals.
- When the temperature drops to room temperature (around 30°C), remove the silicone cover.
- Use a 1.5mm hex wrench to unscrew the two hot end retaining bolts and pull out the hot end assembly.
Installation
- Insert the new hot end assembly into the heat sink and tighten the two hot end fixing bolts with a 1.5mm hex wrench.
- Place the silicone sleeve onto the hot end assembly.
- Reconnect the heating rod and thermistor terminals.
- Reinstall the extruder components and use a 2.0mm hex wrench to tighten the four front-end fixing bolts of the extruder (two on each side).
- Reconnect the strain gauge terminal.
- Cover the front shell and top shell of the extruder.
- Insert the Type-C wire and tighten the Type-C retaining screws with a 2.0mm hex wrench.
- Pass the Teflon tube from the back of the Type-C connector, insert the Teflon tube, and fasten the clip.
