How to Fix the Z-Seam Issues on the M5C
Features and description
The layer start points are scattered and the Z-seam is very visible.
Reasons, Diagnoses, and Solutions
Improper Setting of Z-Seam Parameters Resulting in Visible Z-Seam
- A. Unsuitable Seam Position
- Diagnosis: Check the Seam parameters in Studio through Quality > Seam.
- Solution: For angular models, it is recommended to use Aligned. Select Aligned in Seam Position. For surface models, it is recommended to use Seam Painting, and then manually draw the Z-seam. Brush thickness can adjust the thickness of the Z-seam.

B. Incorrect Printing Order of Inner and Outer Walls
- Diagnosis: Check Quality > Walls and Surfaces to verify the Studio parameter settings.
- Solution: Use Quality > Walls and Surface to set the inner wall first and then the outer wall.
Improper Setting of Model Z-Seam Parameters Leading to Z-Seam Accumulation
- A. Delay in Retraction and Extrusion Actions When Printing at High Speed
- Solution: Use Speed to reduce the overall printing speed appropriately.
