How to Fix the Fine Detail Cannot Be Printed Issue on the M5C Printer’s Print Model

Features and description

Small details on the model cannot be printed, as shown by the blue arrows in the figure below.

Reasons, Diagnoses, and Solutions

  1. Printing Thin Walls and Variable Line Width Are Not Enabled
  • Diagnosis: Check Expert > Quality > Resolution to see if the maximum resolution parameter in the Studio is set to the recommended 0.1 mm.
  • Solution: Reduce the Maximum Resolution to let AnkerMake Studio recognize more details, and enable the Detect Thin Wall function through Expert > Strength > Detect Thin Wall.

  1. The Detail Size Is Too Small to Print
  • Solution: Replace the nozzle with a smaller diameter and reduce the layer thickness. (Generally, the layer thickness should not exceed 80% of the nozzle diameter.)

If none of the above methods solve the problem, please contact us directly at us and provide logs (via the app: Me > About > Upload Log, or via the device: Setting > Upload Log), G-code, STL model, and photos of the issue for analysis.
