How to Fix Cracked or Broken Layers on the M5C Printer’s Print Model
Features and description
The bonding between the layers of the model is weak
Reasons, Diagnoses, and Solutions
Filament Feeding Issue
- Diagnosis: Check whether the filament is pulled in smoothly.
- Solution: Comb the filament winding and ensure smooth feeding. It is recommended to install the material rack in the lower left corner and make the filament rotate clockwise to reduce resistance when the filament is pulled in.
Print Layer Height Parameter Does Not Match Nozzle Diameter
- Diagnosis: Check whether the layer height parameter in the slicer matches the nozzle diameter through Expert > Quality > Layer Height (it is recommended that the layer height does not exceed 80% of the nozzle diameter).
- Solution: Modify the layer height parameter to meet the requirements
Low Ambient Temperature Causes Material Cracks or Breaks During Rapid Cooling
- Diagnosis: Check whether the filament is a high-temperature material (e.g., ABS, PETG).
- Solution:
- A. Turn off the model cooling fan during printing.
- B. Increase the hotbed and nozzle temperatures.
- C. Reduce the printing speed.
- D. Print with an enclosure.
- E. Replace the filament with a different material.
If none of the above methods solve the problem, please contact us directly through us and provide logs (via the app: Me > About > Upload Log, or via the device: Setting > Upload Log), G-code, STL model, and photos of the issue for analysis.
