Problem Description
Users want to remotely control the printer via a mobile app or computer to execute printing tasks. This enables human-machine separation and allows flexible scheduling of print job start times without manual interaction at the printer.
Precautions
-
This feature only controls the start of print task execution. It does not support remote adjustment of print parameters such as process mode or ink settings. All print parameters must be configured before sending the task.
-
Ensure the network environment where the printer is located is stable to prevent delays or failures caused by network interruptions.
Solution
1. Function Introduction
“Remote Printing Control” is a print authorization management feature. After this permission is enabled in the device settings, print jobs sent from the App or PC client require secondary confirmation on the App or PC before printing begins. This removes the need to press the physical start button on the printer.
2. Usage Conditions
-
Ensure that the printer is successfully connected to the Internet.
-
Ensure your user account has been successfully bound to the target printer.
3. Operating Procedures
-
Enable Permission:
-
Enter the device's settings menu and enable the "Remote Printing Control" permission switch.
-
Send Task:
Log in to the bound account using the mobile App or PC Client, and open the printer device management page.
-
Select a file and send it:
Select the file to be printed, click the "Print" button, and send the task to the printer.
-
Remote Confirmation:
After the task is sent, the printer will not start immediately. You must confirm and authorize the print job in the App or PC interface.
-
Start Execution:
Once remote confirmation is completed, the printer will begin executing the print task.
