Fault Description:
Test prints exhibit pattern misalignment or color break issues. Preliminary diagnosis suggests a loose X-axis timing belt.
Required Tool:
2mm hex wrench (user-supplied)
Operation Steps:
Step 1: Remove the printhead panel from the top of the printer.
Step 2: Press against the X-axis timing belt to check for slack.
Step 3: Using the 2 mm hex wrench, loosen the screw on the automatic timing belt tension module by turning it counterclockwise.
Note: Do not remove the screw entirely — loosen it by approximately three turns. Once loosened, the spring will push the automatic tension adjustment slider to the left, automatically applying the correct tension to the belt.
Step 4: Tighten the screw clockwise to lock the new tension position in place.
Test prints show pattern overlapping or color break issues; preliminary diagnosis points to a loose timing belt.
