Introduction to Activated Carbon Air Filter Accessories
The activated carbon air filter is a UV printer air purification accessory. It works together with the air filter fan to absorb and filter volatile substances produced during UV printing. Because the adsorption capacity of activated carbon is limited, we recommend replacing the filter every three months to maintain optimal air purification performance.
Replacement Steps
Step 1 - Ensure the machine is idle and remove the printed object
The activated carbon air filter can only be replaced when the machine is in an Idle state.
Step 2 - Remove the front panel of the machine
The front panel is magnetically attached and can be removed directly by hand. After removing the panel, the activated carbon air filter will be visible.
Step 3 - Remove the activated carbon air filter
Gently pull the ribbon handles located at both ends of the filter to slide it out of the slot.
⚠️ Caution: Always use both hands to hold the ribbons evenly on each side and apply gentle, even force. Do not pull too hard, as tearing the ribbons may make future filter replacements difficult.
Step 4 - Install the new filter cartridge
Insert the new activated carbon air filter into the slot, ensuring it is oriented correctly.
Step 5 - Close the front panel
Place the front panel back in position. The magnets will automatically snap it into place.
Step 6 - Reset Maintenance Cycle
With the machine powered on and idle, open the eufyMake App or eufyMake Studio and reset the maintenance cycle for the activated carbon air filter.
