Waste Ink Cartridge/Cleaning Cartridge Disposal Guide

 

  1. Waste Components

  • Used Ink Cartridges: Plastic casing, residual ink, magnets, encrypted chips, springs

  • Used Cleaning Cartridges: Plastic casing, mixture of cleaning solution and ink, encrypted chips

 

  1. Waste Classification

Non-hazardous waste

  • Contains no heavy metals such as antimony, arsenic, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, or mercury

  • VOC (volatile organic compound) content: <30%

 

  1. Disposal Requirements

Please handle these materials properly in accordance with local laws and regulations.

  • Do not discharge into water. Pre-treatment is required before any product or its waste enters a sewage treatment system.

  • Do not disassemble cartridges, and avoid direct contact with ink or residual ink.

  • Do not dispose of cartridges with household waste. Recycling must be arranged through designated facilities or authorized recycling centers.

 

  1. Recommended Recycling Locations

    1. Industrial Waste Treatment Facilities. These facilities often provide dedicated recycling services for waste ink and related materials.

    2. Local Recycling Centers or Ink Cartridge Recycling Programs. Examples include retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, or similar organizations.

    3. Government- or Environmental Agency-Designated Waste Collection Points

    4. Specific locations can be obtained from your local municipal government or environmental authority.

Returning Waste Cartridges to eufyMake

If you cannot find a suitable recycling location and require eufyMake assistance with disposal, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Precautions for Returning Waste Cartridges

    1. Cartridge Packaging: Both used ink cartridges and cleaning cartridges must be packed in waterproof bags.

    2. Cleaning Cartridge: The original packaging may be reused. Place the used cleaning cartridge back into the waterproof bag and seal it.

    3. Ink Cartridge: Prepare a sealed waterproof bag, place the used cartridge inside, and seal it securely.

 

  1. Required Information for Return

When sending the package, write the following information on a label or sheet of paper and place it inside the package.

Example:

  • Brand: Anker

  • Item List Example: Ink Cartridge ×6 + Cleaning Cartridge ×1

  • Quantity Requirement: There is no minimum quantity requirement. Ink cartridges and cleaning cartridges may be returned separately. However, accumulating multiple cartridges before shipping is recommended to reduce shipping costs.

  1. Cost Information

    1. Recycling and disposal costs for the cartridges will be covered by eufyMake.

    2. Shipping costs for sending the cartridges to the recycling address must be paid by the user.
