Troubleshooting SOP for Power-On Failure

Fault Phenomenon

  2. The Start / Stop indicator light does not turn on.

 

Cause Analysis

  1. Power indicator light does not turn on.

  2. Start / Stop indicator light does not turn on.

  3. Hardware issues, such as loose internal cables or motherboard failure.

  4. Software malfunction.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Unplug the DC power connector from the machine.

  2. Check the power indicator light on the power adapter:

    • Indicator light is constantly on: The adapter is working normally. Proceed to the next step.

    • Indicator light does not turn on or flickers: The adapter may be faulty. Contact after-sales service for replacement.

 

  1. Reinsert the DC power connector into the machine.

  2. Check whether the power indicator light on the machine turns red immediately after inserting the DC connector. If the red light does not turn on, please contact eufyMake Customer Support at support@eufymake.com

  1. After inserting the DC connector:

    • If the indicator light quickly turns green, the system is starting up normally.

    • If the green light does not turn on, press the power button once and observe whether the indicator light responds.

  2. Once the power indicator light turns green normally, check the status of the Start / Stop indicator light:

  • Blue light stays on: The system has started but the network is not configured.

    • Green light stays on: The system has started and the network is configured.

    • Indicator light does not turn on:

      1. Repeat steps 1–6 up to two times.

      2. If the issue persists, remove the top cover and confirm whether the indicator light cable is properly connected, as shown in the image below. When lifting the housing, ensure it is raised no more than 10 cm.

 

  1. If the cable is not connected, power off the machine, reconnect the cable securely, and repeat the power-on test.

  2. If the cable is properly connected, check whether the motherboard indicator lights are on:

    • If the motherboard indicator lights are not on, contact after-sales service.

    • If the motherboard indicator lights are on normally, contact after-sales service for further debugging.
