Abnormal Noise During White Ink Stirring
During white ink stirring, abnormal noises are heard from the ink cartridge area.
Cause Analysis

Ink cartridge internal rotor failure

The inner rotor has fallen off
-
The rotor retaining cap has fallen off
-
The rotor has disengaged from its normal position
-

Ink cartridge internal rotor lagging: Increased resistance or partial seizure during stirring
-
Magnet inside the ink cartridge holder has fallen off: Loss of magnetic coupling between the motor and cartridge rotor
Required Tools
-
2.0 mm hex screwdriver
-
2.5 mm hex screwdriver
Safety Precautions for Operation

Wear gloves to prevent ink contact with skin.

Wear goggles to protect eyes from ink splashes or debris.
Troubleshooting Steps

Inspect the ink cartridge holder magnet
-
Remove the ink cartridge.

Check whether the magnet inside the ink cartridge holder has fallen off, shifted, or become deformed.

If the magnet is abnormal, the motor assembly or ink cartridge holder assembly must be replaced.

Inspect the ink cartridge internal rotor
-
Gently shake the ink cartridge.
-
If abnormal noises are present or if you can feel internal foreign objects moving up and down, this indicates rotor failure.

In this case, the ink cartridge must be replaced.
