Fault Phenomenon
Pop-up prompt appears on the App or PC during measurement: The taper angle of the cone exceeds the maximum limit, please ensure the cup meets taper requirements. If the issue persists, please click the "Help"button and follow the guidance to check whether the motor is stalling.
Cause Analysis
-
The taper of the conical cup exceeds the supported specification.
-
Lifting motor failure, typically manifested as:
-
The lifting shaft does not move
-
The lifting shaft rises partially and then reports an error
-
Troubleshooting Steps
Verify whether the cup taper is within the supported range (≤ 6.5°)
-
Measurement and Calculation Method:
-
Measure the following parameters:
-
D: Cup mouth diameter (large end)
d: Cup bottom diameter (small end)
L: Effective cup height (axial height of the cup body)
-
Calculate the taper. If K > 0.23 (approximately equivalent to a 6.5° taper), the cup is not supported.
K = (D - d) / L
-
Check the lifting mechanism operation.
-
Observe whether the right lifting column moves during measurement (see red box in illustration).
-
If the lifting column does not move or an error occurs mid-ascent:
-
Check for foreign objects around the lifting shaft.
-
Replug the rotating fixture and retry the measurement.
-
If the issue persists, this indicates a hardware fault. Contact after-sales service.
