This guide applies to rotary printing with the eufyMake E1. It covers measurement methods for cylindrical cups, conical cups, and cups with handles, along with software settings, CMYK and white-ink process selection, printing procedures, quality control, and common troubleshooting steps.
Overview
The rotary tool operates with a driving wheel on the left and a driven wheel on the right.
-
The driving wheel rotates the cup through a motor-driven shaft.
-
The driven wheel provides support and assists with smooth rotation.
Supported Cup Types
-
Cylinder
-
Cone
-
Cylinder with handle
Print height limit:
-
Cylindrical Cup: 3D relief supports up to 1mm
-
Conical cup: 3D relief supports up to 0.2mm
Non-Printable Area for Handled Cups
Areas near the cup handle cannot be printed. The software will mark this region on the canvas automatically.
PreconditionSoftware Platform and Usage
-
Daily printing: App / PC
-
Offline printing:
-
Connect the PC to the printer using AP mode
-
The editor supports Offline Mode (cloud-based resources such as AI, templates, and texture libraries are not available offline)
-
Print Settings
Select the print bed and material
-
Print bed: Rotary
-
Select material and quality
-
The system will automatically match the required number of white ink (CMYK+W) layers based on material needs
Measurement Process (App/PC)
-
Tap the Measurement icon
-
Select the appropriate cup shape and choose Auto Measure
-
Wait for the measurement process
-
The App/PC retrieves the cup information from the printer
-
Device actions (automatic):
-
Fixture return-to-zero
-
Measure top diameter
-
Measure bottom diameter
-
Measure height
-
Level or lift if required
-
Calculate and mark non-printable areas (for handled cups)
-
The measurement results are returned to the App/PC and displayed on the canvas
-
Geometric parameters
-
Printable area
-
Non-printable area visualized on the cup
-
A prompt will appear: “Auto measurement is completed. The result has updated the canvas.”
Page Layout and Margins:
-
Load your image onto the canvas.
-
You may keep the original size or enable resize to canvas.
After selecting the image, the following parameters appear on the right:
-
Top Margin: Distance between the top of the image and the cup rim
-
Bottom Margin: Distance between the bottom of the image and the base of the cup
It is recommended to measure non-printable areas manually and set margins to avoid printing too close to the rim or base.
Ink and Process Selection:
-
Flat or 3D Texture: Use Hard White Ink
-
Foil Stamping: Must use Soft White Ink
-
The software will determine the number of white ink layers required for the selected material
Preview:
-
Preview the flattened rotary view to verify pattern position, top/bottom margins, and cup-handle clearance
-
In 3D Texture mode, preview the height and surface texture before printing
Printing
-
Start printing and monitor rotation stability and ink output
-
If printing stops unexpectedly, record the on-screen status and follow the recovery procedure
Post-Processing (If Applicable)
-
Gold/Silver Stamping:
-
Print with Soft White Ink
-
Apply heat with a handheld press
-
Peel the film after it has cooled completely
-
Common Issues and Solutions
Rotation Alignment Offset
-
Reconfirm measurement values (height, diameters)
-
Check contact between the cup and driving/driven wheels
-
Verify top/bottom margins
Uneven Printing on Conical Cups
-
Ensure leveling was completed
-
Re-run automatic measurement
Contamination Near the Handle
-
Confirm the non-printable area is marked correctly
-
Increase margin appropriately
White Edges or Exposed White Ink
-
Increase white-underbase choke as needed
-
Verify correct material selection
Poor 3D Texture Performance
-
Cylinders support ≤ 1 mm
-
Conical cups support ≤ 0.2 mm
-
Adjust texture thickness and smoothness and reprint
Incomplete or Misaligned Gold/Silver Stamping
-
Ensure printing used Soft White Ink
-
Confirm sufficient pressing time and pressure
-
Peel after cooling
