Safety Precautions
1. When disassembling the left cover, unplug the power cord first. The power socket is located on the left cover, and failure to do so may damage the socket.
2. Do not lift the top cover too much during disassembly, as this could pull the connection cable between the top cover control panel and the mainboard, potentially damaging the wires or terminals.
3. Before installing the top cover, make sure the connection cable between the control panel and the mainboard is connected correctly. When installing the left and right covers, also check for any exposed wires or ink tubes.
4. After completing the cover installation, confirm that all latches are securely fastened and properly positioned.
5. The top cover must not be removed before both the left and right covers have been disassembled.
Replacement Steps
Step 1 - Power Off and Unplug
Power off the device and unplug the power cord.
⚠️ When disassembling the left cover, unplug the power cord first, as the power socket is located on the left cover.
Step 2 - Remove the Right Quick-Release Panel
Remove the right quick-release panel by pulling from beneath the handle.
Step 3 - Remove the Right Cover
1. Use the disassembly tool to pry open a gap along the left and right edges of the cover.
2. Pull the cover outward from the bottom. The latches will detach from the machine, completing the right cover removal.
Step 4 - Remove the Left Cover
1. As with the right cover, use the disassembly tool to pry open a gap along the left and right edges of the cover.
2. Pull the cover outward from the bottom. The latches will detach from the machine, completing the left cover removal.
Step 5 - Remove the Top Cover
1. Use the disassembly tool to pry open gaps at the front and rear edges of the cover.
⚠️ Note: Ribbon cables connect the cover to the mainboard. Do not lift excessively to avoid pulling these cables.
2. Use both hands to lift the top cover upward along its sides. Do not lift excessively.
⚠️ Pay attention to the ribbon cable.
3. Disconnect the ribbon cable between the mainboard and the top cover.
Step 6 - Install the Top Cover
1. Check whether the wires in the red-marked area are properly arranged to avoid exposure or being caught by the top cover.
2. Connect the ribbon cable between the mainboard and the top cover.
3. Reinstall the cover, press along the edges, fasten all latches, and check whether the seams and height differences around the top cover are even. Installation of the top cover is complete.
Step 7 - Install the Left Cover
1. Check the red-marked area for any exposed wires.
2. Insert the upper latches of the left cover into the slot of the top cover.
3. Press the latch points at the green dots until you hear a "click", indicating proper fastening. Secure all latches in sequence.
Step 8 - Install the Right Cover
1. Check the red-marked area for any exposed wires and ink tubes.
2. Insert the upper latches of the right cover into the slot of the top cover.
3. Press along the edge of the cover until you hear a "click", indicating proper fastening. Secure all latches in sequence.
Step 9 - Install the Right Quick-Release Panel
First, insert the bottom of the quick-release panel into the slot of the left cover, then insert the upper part into the machine. After installation, press around the quick-release panel to confirm all latches are fastened.
Step 10 - Connect the Power
After completing cover disassembly and reassembly, check whether all latches are properly secured and if there is any bulging. If you notice gaps or bulging, press firmly on the cover to ensure the latches are fully engaged, then plug in the power cord.
