Product Description

UV printer cartridges are consumable products designed for printers using UV-LED light curing technology. They have the following features:

  • Contain low-viscosity UV-curable ink, suitable for printing under normal temperature and pressure.

  • Cure rapidly under UV-LED light.

  • Low-odor UV ink formulation.

  • Strong resistance to UV degradation and fading, offering excellent weather resistance.

  • Compatible with various flexible and rigid substrates, including foam boards, metals, and some plastics, while meeting adhesion requirements.

  • Equipped with an encryption chip for identification of dedicated cartridges, capable of reading cartridge information such as production date, model, and specification once inserted into the printer.

Usage Method:

  • Installation: Shake the new ink cartridge vigorously for about 2 minutes before installation. Insert the UV ink cartridge as prompted by the printer.

  • Removal: When prompted by the machine, remove the depleted UV ink cartridge and replace it with a new one.

 

Precautions :

  1. Classification of Built-in Ink Chemicals

The cartridge has the following graphics, which respectively represent: Warning, Health Hazard, Corrosive, and Environmental Hazard

Icon Explanation:

  1. Warning: Contains harmful chemicals. Avoid ingestion, inhalation, and skin contact. Keep out of reach of children.

  2. Health Hazard: May cause harm to the fetus. Suspected of impairing fertility or causing organ damage through prolonged or repeated exposure.

  3. Corrosive: May cause skin irritation, allergic reactions, or irreversible tissue damage, and serious eye injury.

  4. Environmental Hazard: Toxic to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. Do not discharge into domestic drains.

 

2. Precautions for Normal Use

  • Before disassembling or installing the ink cartridge, wear rubber or plastic gloves and safety goggles.

  • For minor leaks, clean using tissues or cloth. Alcohol-based liquids can be used to remove ink residue.

  • Ventilation Priority: Always operate the UV printer in a well-ventilated area. If indoors, open windows and doors and use fans to improve air circulation. If possible, place an air purifier nearby.

 

3. Measures for accidental leakage

  • Use personal protective equipment: Impermeable gloves, respiratory masks, or face coverings with filters.

  • Emergency Procedures: Eliminate all ignition sources and ventilate the area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Do not inhale dust or vapor.

  • Environmental Precautions: Prevent the product from entering drains. When safe, stop further leakage or spillage. Keep away from sewers, ditches, and waterways. Use appropriate sealing and cleaning methods.

4. First Aid Measures

  1. General Recommendations:

  • Do not inhale gases, vapors, or sprays.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.

  1. Specific Measures

  • Skin Contact: Immediately wash with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation (redness, rash, or blistering) persists, seek medical attention and provide the safety data sheet.

  • Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with clean, running water under the eyelids for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.

  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Immediately contact a doctor or poison control center. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Store in a well-ventilated, dry, shaded, and cool indoor environment.

 Recommended storage temperature: 15–35°C

 Recommended storage humidity: 30–70% (no condensation)

 Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture
