Flatbed Adhesive Mat Usage Process
When To Replace The Adhesive Mat
Flatbed Adhesive Mat function
The flatbed adhesive mat is a consumable accessory used to secure the substrate during printing. The back side of the mat adheres to the printing platform, and the other side secures the printing substrate. There are two versions of the flatbed adhesive mat: the mini flatbed adhesive mat and the standard flatbed adhesive mat, which are used to fit the mini flatbed and the standard flatbed, respectively.
Flatbed Adhesive Mat Usage Process
Step 1 - Peel off the protective sticker on the back
Step 2 - Paste after aligning the flatbed platform
Paste the flatbed adhesive mat correctly by aligning it with the edge of the print platform, and ensure there are no bulges or abnormal areas.
Step 3 - Remove the White Sticker and Begin Printing
Once the print test and calibration images are confirmed to be normal, peel off the white protective sticker from the front of the adhesive board. Then, place the substrate onto the adhesive board and begin printing.
When To Replace The Adhesive Mat
As a consumable, the flatbed adhesive mat should be replaced when it is no longer usable due to any of the following conditions:
-
Loss of adhesion: If the mat’s stickiness decreases and can no longer hold the printed object in place, it may cause warping or curling, which can lead to issues such as nozzle scraping.
-
Excessive contamination: If the mat becomes too dirty to allow the printed object to lie flat, it may affect print quality or damage the nozzle.
-
Impaired measurement: If dirt or residue prevents accurate height measurement of the printed object, the mat should be replaced.
