CPU Over Temperature (Software prompts "CPU Over Temperature" error)

Fault Phenomenon

During operation, the PC Client or App displays a “CPU Over Temperature” error, and the printer may stop working to protect internal components.

Cause Analysis

CPU overheating is typically caused by one of the following conditions:

  • The ambient operating temperature is too high and exceeds the recommended working range.

  • The cooling module air intake or filter mesh is clogged with dust, resulting in insufficient heat dissipation.

Required tools

  1. M2 Hex Socket Screwdriver

  1. Soft Brush

Safety Precaution

Power off the printer and disconnect the power supply before any disassembly or inspection.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Use the PC Client or App to confirm the fault message.

    1. If multiple fault messages are displayed, resolve other faults first.

    2. If only the CPU Over Temperature fault is present, continue with the steps below.

  2. Refer to https://support.eufymake.com/s/article/eufyMake-UV-Printer-E1-Replacement-SOP-of-Motherboard-Cooling-Fan to power off and remove the printer outer shell.

  3. Power on the printer and allow it to run for approximately 1 minute. Observe the cooling fan status:

    1. Normal condition: The fan produces audible sound and vibration when touched lightly.

    2. Abnormal condition: No sound and no vibration are detected. If the fan is not operating normally, replace the fan according to https://support.eufymake.com/s/article/eufyMake-UV-Printer-E1-Replacement-SOP-of-Motherboard-Cooling-Fan

  4. If the fan is operating normally:

    1. Power off the machine.

    2. Press the locking buckle and gently unplug the fan connector.

    3. Use an M2 hex key screwdriver to remove the screws and disassemble the heat dissipation module.

  1. Use a soft brush to clean the air intake and filter area thoroughly.

The mesh is covered with dust

Use a brush to clean until there is no blockage.

  1.  Inspect the air outlet to confirm that no foreign objects are obstructing airflow.
