Applicable Scenarios
When you need to print multiple identical or different patterns on the same canvas, the Auto Layout feature helps you quickly and evenly arrange elements. It automatically maintains appropriate spacing between items, making post-print cutting easier and reducing the risk of damaging pattern edges.
Operating Steps
1. Select Multiple Image Elements
Hold the Shift key and click the image elements you want to arrange on the canvas, or use the mouse to drag a selection box around multiple elements
2. Enable the Auto Layout Feature
After selecting multiple elements, click the [Auto Layout] button in the top toolbar, the Auto Layout Settings panel will appear
3. Adjust Layout Parameters
In the settings panel, you can adjust the following parameters:
-
Maximum Width: Defines the maximum width allowed for element arrangement (default is the canvas width)
-
Horizontal Spacing: Sets the horizontal distance between adjacent elements
-
Vertical Spacing: Sets the vertical distance between adjacent rows
4. Confirm and Apply
After configuring the parameters, click [Confirm]. The system will automatically arrange all selected elements on the canvas according to the defined spacing
Parameter Description
Maximum Width
-
Description: The maximum horizontal range used for arranging elements. Elements will automatically wrap to a new row once this width is exceeded
-
Default Value: Canvas width
-
Recommended Setting: Keep the default value, or adjust based on the actual printable area
Horizontal Spacing
-
Description: The horizontal distance between adjacent elements
-
Recommended Value: 5–10 mm
-
Purpose: Reserves sufficient space for cutting to prevent damage to pattern edges
Tip: When batch-printing small items, it is recommended to set horizontal spacing to at least 5 mm to facilitate cutting
Vertical Spacing
-
Description: The vertical distance between adjacent rows
-
Recommended Value: 5–10 mm
-
Purpose: Reserves cutting space and ensures clean separation between rows
Tip: For a balanced layout, it is recommended to keep vertical spacing consistent with horizontal spacing.
Precautions
-
The Auto Layout feature only applies to currently selected elements. Ensure that all elements to be arranged are selected before applying the layout.
-
After automatic layout is applied, you can still manually fine-tune the position of individual elements if needed.
Tip: If you need to print a large number of identical patterns, duplicate the elements first and then apply Auto Layout in a single operation to significantly improve workflow efficiency.
