Introduction to Cleaning Cartridge

Product Description

The UV cleaning cartridge is a supporting maintenance fluid for maintaining the function of the print head of UV inkjet printers. The cartridge is filled with cleaning liquid and water-based moisturizing fluid, which mainly serves functions such as cleaning ink and maintaining the wetness of the print head, ensuring that the print head is in good condition, and guaranteeing the continuous stability of the subsequent printing process and good printing quality.

The UV cleaning cartridge can operate automatically and periodically in the printer's set program, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the printer and effectively extending the working life of the printer head.

Precautions

1.  Classification of Built-in Cleaning Solution Chemicals

Label element: Warning (as shown in the figure)

Caution: Contains hazardous substances. After handling, wash hands thoroughly. Wear protective gloves, clothing, eye protection, and a face shield.

If contact with eyes occurs: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. If wearing contact lenses, remove them and continue rinsing.

Other classification information: Combustible.

2. Precautions for Normal Use

  • Before disassembling or installing the cartridge, wear rubber or plastic gloves and safety goggles.

  • For minor liquid leaks, clean with a tissue or cloth. Use a damp wipe (water-based) for colorless cleaning fluid residue, or an alcohol-based liquid for removing traces of colored waste ink.

3. Measures for accidental leakage

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as impermeable gloves, masks, and protective clothing. If vapor is present, use a respirator with a filter.

  • Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in indoor environments.

4. First Aid Measures

General Recommendations:

  • Do not inhale gases, vapors, or sprays.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.

5. Specific Measures:

  • Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

  • Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, including under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

  • Ingestion: Do not ingest or swallow the cleaning solution or waste ink.

6. Firefighting and Extinguishing Measures

  • Suitable Extinguishing Agents: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, dry sand, alcohol-resistant foam, or alkaline saltwater mist.

  • Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: Do not use a solid water stream, as it may spread the fire.

  • Specific Hazards: Do not inhale combustion gases or smoke. Burning may produce thick smoke.

  • Protective Equipment for Firefighters: Use appropriate respirators and personal protective equipment. If fire or explosion occurs, avoid inhaling fumes. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately and do not discharge it into drains.
